Fresh old music from the depths of StudioBlend:
I named this tune years ago. If only I’d known then what would happen when you search on ‘Slipjazz’ I might have had second thoughts. Ah well…
It was written for Stömp, and we played it live a lot but never recorded it, so recently I thought I’d have a go. Then, bless my soul, I trawled the archive and found the wavs of the original demo I did for the band, and built them into this tribute to Louis Balfour of the Fast Show. So the acoustic guitar, fiddle and mandolin are real, if somewhat aged. The rest is imaginary. Except John Thomson.
